A country with perfect blend of all landscapes from lush green mountains of KPK, fertile plains of Punjab, Coastal roars of Balochistan till semi-deserted Sindh, every province of Pakistan bears variety of flowering trees which allure the visions of everyone, no matter the nature lovers or capitalists.
Islamabad, Murree, Ayubia, Gilyaat, Abbottabad natives rejoice spring by sighting white flora on Apricot trees by early March. This tree is planted at abundance at roadsides and lush green gardens of Islamabad and grown wild at Himalayan mountains which not only provides sweet apricots, shade but the most beautiful first sight of spring.
To me, Apricot deserves the first prize for an announcement of spring, instead of cherishing cherry blossoms at the main parts of the world.

Spring announces its arrival at land of five rivers Punjab, Pakistan at hands of Seemal or Bombax Ceiba (red silk cotton tree). Bombax ceiba is an Asian tropical tree with a tall, erect trunk with deciduous leaves which sprung by early March.
This tree is found at many places at provincial capital Lahore across roads and in parks or at any city inside the province. Seemal trees grab roots at Sialkot, Sahiwal, Jhelum, Sheikhupura and other fertile cities near Jhelum, Punjab and Ravi river.
