The legendary actor, director, and producer Abid Ali Passes away at age of 67 on 5th September 2019. He has been ailing with liver disease and was in critical condition for two months. He has worked in many films and dramas, but drama serial “WARIS, 1979” stands him significant throughout his career.
Few super hit dramas of Abid Ali are Dyar edil , Bunty I Love you, Daldal, Doosra Asmaan and Dasht. Viewers last watch Abid Ali’s best performance on HUM TV play “Tajdeed e Wafa”. He did his last film “Heer man ja ”. Abid Ali was honored with “pride of performance” award in 1985.
Abid Ali had two wives. His first wife was Humaira Abid Ali, who was an actress and singer. The couple had three daughters Iman Ali, Rahima Ali and Maryum Ali. His second wife wasRabia Noreen who also appears on TV serials off and on. His daughter Iman Ali is a supermodel and a popular film star of Pakistan. His daughter Rahma Ali, a singer, took to Twitter to ask for prayers for his father’s early recovery three days ago.
She wrote that “Papa has been extremely unwell for the past two months. Got treatment done, tried almost every available medication, Tasbeeh Surah e Rehman too, but now all the doctors have given us their final verdict. Basically, they’ve told us there is nothing they can do to save him.”
