BTS performed in Saudi Arabia on the request of Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. The whole city was brightened to welcome the guys, and the show was live-streamed for the people who couldn’t reach it live. It was a thing that the Saudi kingdom had never witnessed before. The whole stadium was lightening up and buildings were themed in purple, which is the signature color of the BTS band.
Saudi people are going through a visible social, religious and economic breakthrough under the leadership of Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. The King appointed Muhammad Bin Salman as a crown prince on 21 June 2017. Since the time, Muhammad Bin Salman took the bold steps to set his country compatible with the rest of the world. Few of his attempts are action against corruption, limiting the religious police power, weakening the male-guardianship laws, allowing the women to drive and increasing the role of women in government and public sector.

BTS has faced criticism for performing in the country which is violating human rights but BTS has explained that it was not an easy decision for them to perform when Nicki Minaj and other popular singers refused to perform in Saudi Arabia. We were “officially invited” and it’s been a while when we performed in Middle-east–I guess the last time was Dubai in 2015. We’ll go, where people want to see us.
The fans are eager to know about the next concerts of BTS. Till then enjoy their songs online.
