Back to school shopping is not exciting for post COVID-19 school reopening- New School Timings are confirmed for schools opening COVID 19 break of 6 months-fusion stories

Amid fears of a second wave of COVID-19 in Pakistan, the education ministry has directed to open all private, public schools in all provinces from 15th September 2020 from grade 5 and onwards. A list of protocols and SOPs have been issued to schools from the respective education department of every province. Teachers are up with adjusting the syllabus to cover in a given time. The key players of the team; the students are excited to meet their friends and attending school after a long time but traditional back to school shopping is not exciting this year. A box of masks and a bottle of hand sanitizers is a part of the parcel in back to school shopping after post-COVID 19 schools reopen. Parents are not taking the kids to markets and avoiding their choices of new stationery because of corona caught up in crowded markets. New school bags, new lunch boxes, and water bottles are not included in the back to school shopping list this year.

 Many students’ uniforms & school shoes are short now and not fit to sizes. Parents are constrained to buy new uniforms and school shoes even to attend the schools for a few hours only and 3 days a week. School opening days are near but we don't observe a traditional rush in markets or book shops. Parents are more conscious of kids' safety and looking for everything to get back to normal soon. 


So the traditional back to school shopping is not exciting this year.

The air is cleared as After COVID 19 lockdown eased and schools are about to open from 15th September 2020 then NEW SCHOOL TIMINGS FOR SCHOOLS ARE ISSUED BY AUTHORITIES FOR teachers and students


New school timings from 15-9-20. Schools will be on for 6 days a week and Saturday will be resumed as a working day.

A high school teacher of Physics and Math told us that A smart syllabus for 6 months is provided to all teachers and schools to be covered until the end of the educational sessions. Schools from Playgroup till 4th grade will not open. Only 15 students will be allowed in 1 room or in one group.
” A teacher will deliver the same lecture to at least three groups in a single day.” a Secondary school teacher told us.



The students will be divided into groups and to adjust the siblings in the same-day group, Schools are sending messages to parents for information. The teachers are already attending the schools in Pakistan from the end of August, and making all preparations to welcome the wards after 6 month-long closure of schools due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Teachers and students are excited to start the schools in Pakistan with new normals by wearing masks, social distancing, and handwashing practices.
