The government of Punjab has decided to reduce the syllabus of Class XI and XII (Grade 11 and grade 12). Punjab textbook and curriculum board has reduced all Punjab board exam syllabuses up to 50%. The reduced Punjab exam board syllabus has named 'BISE smart syllabus' under program 'ALP accelerated Learning Program' can be seen online free. The smart syllabus will be covered in seven months i.e. from September, 20 to early April, 2021. Ministry of education has already announced that annual Punjab board exams will be conducted 15 days later the previously practiced dates in 2021. The Lahore board, Rawalpindi board, Gujranwala board and all other Punjab board annual date sheet for HSSC I & HSSC II will most probably start at last week of May 2021. Punjab textbook and curriculum board has issued the smart syllabus under notification NO.SO (ER-2) I-9/2020 and approved by ministry of education.

Unfortunately, we don't observe reduced or smart syllabus for Arts, commerce & General Science subjects in Bise smart syllabus. Whereas fbise or federal board has reduced syllabus for every subject and reduced syllabus of Civics, Statistics, Economics, commerce, Sociology, Home economics, History are also available on their website.
