The IBCC has announced the
issuance of temporary equivalents results after verification of online results
for the convenience of 'O' and 'A' level students seeking admission in medical
and other professional colleges.
According to
a tweet from Ministry of Federal Education/professional Training that on a
request of Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood, for the convenience of O
level and A level students looking admission in Medical and Dental colleges for MBBS, Inter
Board committee of Chairman IBCC will issue temporary equivalents results to O
Level and A level students after
verification their online results.
On a request
of PMC, Shafqat Mehmood directed IBCC to provide equal opportunities to Cambridge
students waiting for their recounted results. The last date of admission in
public and private medical colleges of Pakistan is 18th January 2021.
Students can submit their applications for temporary equivalent via TCS or post
to IBCC. The Cambridge result is expected to announce on 11th
January 2021. Once the result is available online, IBCC will set up equivalents
within three days after online verification of results. These equivalents can
be collected from head office Islamabad or district offices Bahawalpur, Karachi,
Lahore, Peshawar, or Quetta. The temporary result will also e mail to students.
This is a
sigh of relief looking for admissions in medical colleges and are worried of
clash of result and admission dates.
