The Pakistan
Medical Commission PMC on Sunday has announced that the deadline for admissions
to public and private colleges is delayed because of delayed A-Level results.
"In
response to the fact that the delayed A-Level results will be announced on 11th
January 2021, the Council has decided to extend the date beyond 11th January
2021 of (a) closure of admissions in public colleges, (b) closure of portal for
admissions in private colleges," PMC
Twitter says.
The new
dates of PMC admission in Public & Private colleges will notified shortly.
PMC
explained that students will be able to submit their A-Level results with their
applications.

It is
important to mention that Cambridge agrees to review results after protest from
students.
Due to the coronavirus
pandemic, Cambridge International had cancelled its May/June 2020 exam series
worldwide/ Cambridge made the announcement to award passed/failed certificates
without exams. The CAIE followed a four-step assessment mechanism. It included
teachers’ predicted grades, ranking order, school review/approval and standardization
and result were announced on 13th August 2020. The result was not
taken satisfactory from students and CAIE agreed to review it.
The reviewed
CAIE results will be announce on 11th January 2021 and afterwards
students can apply for MBBS admissions in public & private medical
colleges.
