The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education FBISE has announced the dates to conduct the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examinations in May and June 2021, respectively.
According to the announcement, the annual examinations for students under the Federal Board would commence from 20th May 2021, for SSC I & SSC II i.e. class 9 & 10.
Fbise board exams for HSSC I & HSSC II i.e. class 11 & 12 students will start from 10th June 2021.
Here is a notification of fbise exam dates for SSC & HSSC. It was issued late on Monday that said:
"It is hereby notified for information and necessary action of all concerned that SSC Annual Examination 2021 shall commence from Thursday, 20th May 2021, and HSSC Annual Examination 2021 shall commence from Thursday, 10th June 2021."
No Practical Exams This Year for Federal Board FBISE Students
The fbise notification also stated that the practical examinations would not be conducted at SSC and HSSC level this year, and the marks will be assigned as per the promotion policy 2020.
Earlier, Punjab had announced conducting board exams in May-June 2021. whereas Sindh government had announced to conduct exams and July-August 2021.
Both Punjab board & Sindh board will give practical exams along with theoretical papers.
No Change in paper patterns
Earlier it has announced that paper pattern for fbise and BISE Punjab students will remain same as previous years.
According to fbisr,
"Dear candidates, there will be no change in the pattern of papers. No Mcqs type exam. Papers will be as per the previous pattern but with reduced syllabus."
Though BISE Sindh has announced modification in duration and pattern of SSC & HSC Exams due to long educational break caused by covid 19.
