SNC- Single National Curriculum is an initiative from government of Pakistan to promote equal opportunity of studies to all masses of community.As per government advise Government prescribed books will be taught in all public/government, Private schools and Islamic based(madrassa) in Pakistan.
The books of Single National Curriculum from Punjab Text book board will be distributed free in all government schools. For private school students, SNC books will be available in book shops on low prices. The SNC will be implemented at primary level from Grade 1- Grade 5 for the academic year of 2021-22. There are books of five subjects: Urdu, Islamiat, English, Mathematics and General Science that will be taught under SNC. The SNC books have been published under Punjab Curriculum Textbook Board PCTBB. The books are illustrated with colourful pictures and new exercises. The content is selected to associate and inculcate the love for the country, society and religion.
