The total marks of bsek matric are 1100. The toppers are expected to achieve 100% result as only the papers of elective subjects. The reason that biek students and other board students in Pakistan get this high percentage is that students can get full marks in numerical based papers like Math, physics, Chemistry, computer science etc. The numbers are mostly deducted in compulsory subjects that are mostly subjective like English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies.
As the obtained marks of elective subjects are distributed on compulsory subjects as per education board devised formula, so students are able to achieve near 100% marks in matric board.
Here is also a fact the distribution of marks is not even as many students have got C and D grades.
