EVERY ONE IS TRAVELLING IN
TIME
…..Zaka, you came from future, dropped us in 11th
century and didn’t look back,’ Murtaza almost jumped in surprise after looking
at him.
‘I told you, I’m on my research to make it ease to
travel in times. Some stones from the bracelet of
A queen's lost bracelet |
lost queen are creating
strapping effects in space from this time and I’m looking for them.’
‘Is time travelling really possible? I’m still
puzzled,’ Murtaza couldn’t hide his amazement.
‘Why not, every one of us moved in times. Daily,
hourly we enter in future, leaving the past behind at the speed of 1sec/sec. I
just changed your speed in time. I set it slow and for me slower than yours,’
Zaka tried to make it simple.
‘’but…..,’
‘We’ll talk in detail some other time. A lot of
adventure is ahead to amuse you both, but now I’m here to apologies some one,’
he looked at Hassan, who was not paying any attention to his presence.
‘Sigma has squeezed my research work from my mind
and has approached here. This made me anxious, so I went rude with you,’ Zaka
moved closer to Hassan.
‘It’s ok. I can understand. It was my mistake after
all,’ Hassan confessed.
‘Squeezed research from your mind! How it’s
possible? Murtaza tried to hold his glasses habitually but they were not there.
‘Anything is possible in 24th century,’
Zaka waved his hands and turned back.
‘Please please, one last question. Do you work for
NASA? Murtaza almost ran after him.
‘No, not at all! I’m a proud part of SUPARCO,’ Zaka
grinned.
‘Every one goes to sleep. We have to leave early in
morning. It would be a long educational trip along Nile,’ head of their hostel
came in front and ordered them.
FIRST UNIVERSITY OF THE WORLD
‘Everything is changed with time but look the moon
and stars of 11th and 22nd century are glittering same,’
Hassan looked at the beautiful dark night.
‘Umm. Just like this institute which is going to
shine as the modern Al Azher university till our time,’ Murtaza touched one of
the giant pillar and sat down.
‘This institute is named after Hazrat Fatima as she
was called Al-Zahra (the luminous). Many scholars and intellectuals from all
over the world studied here. Al Haytem himself came from Iraq. Famous chemist
Ibn e Sina and many more are the part of this madrassa. Cairo is the hub of
studies at 11th century,’ one of the local teachers told them
proudly.
‘Muslim Caliphs of that time encourage learning
generously. In our time, learning and books are buried under the corruption of
our leaders,’ Hassan seemed impressed at the massive construction of that
madrassa.
‘
‘Off course, it seemed our rulers also have changed
the bricks of institutes and paper of books in money and filched it from us. We
are far behind to reach the modern skills in our time,’ Murtaza sighed.
‘Don’t be sad, guys. Your generation will learn from
the mistakes of their elders and will set the exemplary footprints for a
generation ahead. I’m an example for you. Now move to your beds,’ Zaka smiled
and vanished.
YOU ARE FURIUOS, FAST, SACRED, MYSTERIOUS….
Next morning they got up very early. About 4187m
longest river of the world was mystifying its beauty at overwhelming desert dawn.
It was difficult to judge, which one was portrayed more beautiful: land or sky.
All the students sat on a big ship which was sent by the caliph. It was a
beautiful royal ship with many rooms and with a vast deck. There were a lot of
trading ships at one bank. Ships for transport and beautifully decorated ships
for marriage ceremonies were also parked there. Their ship started its journey
along the fast waters of Nile. They could see a lot of people at banks of Nile.
They were fishing, washing clothes, rearing their animals and fetching water
for their homes.
‘Pharos took big stones on ships from Nile and built
giant pyramids near its banks. Pharos were very powerful rulers of the time,
construction of pyramids is still a mystery. Nile was so sacred and precious
for them that its land could only be used for cultivation. Not any type of
construction was allowed there,’ Murtaza told him.
‘These river currents are so furious, running just
like a racing car. I’m hardly managed my balance. Ooooo…,’ Hassan tried to
stood erect at deck.
MY NANO(GRAND MOTHER) AND HER STORIES
‘Just
the same, I was thinking. How such furious waves could hold a basket, carrying
a fragile baby boy,’ Murtaza seemed mesmerized.
‘It
would be very throbbing for a sister to put down her brother like it,’ he
continued.
‘You’re
right dude but who knew, that the boy would be prophet Mosses, who was going to
challenge the powers of pharaohs by the command of God. He would save the Israelis
from slavery. He would spread the message of Allah on this land. It all was the
will of almighty Allah. He saved and nourished that boy in the castles of pharos,
my friend,’ Hassan got loud and emotional.
‘Quiet
Hassan, why are you giving this speech so loud? Come down,’ Murtaza scolded him
from behind as he went at top of one corner.
‘Wants
to fly
Jump
up high
Wants
to drown
With
the shark crowned
Wants
to lost
In
the world of ghosts’
Oh
my favorite childhood rhyme.’
‘By
the way, I haven’t listened at such hilarious rhyme before. Actually a childhood
of 22nd century is cuddling in the tone of 11th century.
Come down hurry,’ Murtaza pulled him from back. Look those boys are coming
outside the deck…..
