First of all regular, private, and supply or compartment students are promoted without an exam.
A trend was observed all education boards which are about 29 boards throughout Pakistan that marks of 10th and 12th are better and higher than 9th and 11th-grade marks of students. The average trend stayed at 3% more marks, so a statistical formula was made to justify the abilities of 10th and 12th students without an exam.
That why students of class 10th and 12th(2nd year) will get 3% more marks from their 9th and 11th grades.
Total marks of SSC and HSSC are 1100 most boards which divide into part years, 550 each year.
Interestingly, the toppers of SSC 1 and HSSC 1 from FBISE federal board, BISE Lahore, Gujranwala board, BSEK or all other education boards of Sindh, KPK and Baluchistan are automatically are toppers of SSC 2 and HSSC 2 exams using the statistical formula prescribed by government due to COVID 19 exam cancellation.

530+ 15.9 = 545.9 out of 550 marks for class 10th SSC.
Total marks of class 10, SSC topper will likely be
530+ 545.9 = 1075.9 out of 1100
for BISE student.

Transcript or mark sheet of 10th and 12th will not be delivered subject wise marks but there will only be only total marks on the transcript out of 1100 of 12th and 10th grade.

Good news for Private students from class 10th and 12th will get marks based on their 9th and 11th result plus 3% more marks added in it respectively like regular students.
The students compartments or got less 40% marks in the previous result will be promoted with 40% grades.
NOT satisfied with a policy of education board
A special exam will be conducted between September and November for improvement, compartment, and composite students.
These students will notify their respective boards till 1st July 2020.

Earlier Federal education minister announced on 14th May 2020 about the promotion criteria of board students throughout Pakistan after a meeting with the provincial education minister and reached a unanimous decision that board exams are canceled and all students are promoted from class 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.
