 The shooting location of popular drama Dirilis: Ertugrul or Resurrection: Ertugrul and Kurulus: Usman is a small lush green village, Riva ( Cayagzi) in Beykoz district of Istanbul province, Turkey, is a new tourist attraction.  Tourists want to enjoy the nomadic tents life, horses, sword fighting, born fire and smoked meat like Kayi tribes there.

   2. Resurrection:Ertugrul export and translation rate is very high



Ertugrul has been translated into more than 26 languages and has been exported and aired to more than 71 countries. A few of countries where Ertugrul was exported are Albania, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, countries of Africa and Middle East are included. Turkey is second after US in TV series exports worldwide and its dramas have broken many records on digital media.  Turkey has crossed about $400 million in a year from export of its TV series.

3. Ertugrul, A TV series faced a fatwa from Egypt council and banned


Fearing the influence of Turkey through dramas, first Saudi Arabia banned "Ertugrul" in its country then following the claim, Egypt's biggest and most influential Fatwa body, Dar Al Iftta proposed a ban on Turkish drama Ertugrul and accused Turkey and President Ertugrul trying to regain its control in Middle East and other Muslim World like it had in Ottoman period producing these type of dramas. The popular TV series Dirilis: Ertugrul is banned in Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia and India but still is widely watched on social media channels.

4. Ertugrul, a TV series that attracted the world leaders,Presidents, Prime Ministers

  We hardly found a drama or any movie in entertainment history which attracts the world leaders towards it but Ertugrul set the records here. Turkish President Erdogan, accompanied his wife Emine Erdogan and daughter Sumeyye, visited Riva towards shooting location of Ertugrul in 2019. Erdogan and family chatted with the cast and cherish amid traditional sets of drama. The story was covered by many magazines and channels.

The sensation of Ertugrul didn’t stop here but hyped when Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan recommended all five seasons of Ertugrul to dub in Urdu and set on air on state TV channel of Pakistan. This drama is on air on state TV channel from 25th April 2020 and got 4 million new subscribers on official Ertugrul Youtube channel just in one month.

       We hear a sharp sound of sword drawing, horse galloping, falling things in Ertugrul throughout series and you know all these sounds are made using gadgets in the studio. The shooting of Ertugrul took five years to complete all five seasons. The shooting of Ertugrul was started on December 10, 2014 and the final day of shooting of Ertugrul was 26th May, 2019. The last episode of Ertugrul has been viewed many times and still people are watching it on youtube.
       

      6.  Ertugrul actors took three month training       

     It's not only acting but Ertugrul actors took three month lessons of horse riding before the shooting started. The actors also got trained in archery and sword fighting. A special team was arranged from Kazakhstan to train the actors and actresses of Ertugrul to battle the field that look like real.  A team of choreographers from popular movies were invited to show the nomadic life to actors. They cast real justify the training. About 25 horses were arranged and took cared in a farm near Riva. A special place like Zoo was established to take care of animals shown in the series like goats, sheep, nightingales and partridges.

     7.   Resurrection: Ertugrul pots, accessories and swords are gems

       According to  Ertugrul production team, they arranged copper and other metallic accessories used in series, from all over Turkey. Special swords, pots, costumes and furniture was made to show the real tribal life of 13th century.  A head jewelry is attached with a scarf to make headdress for the female cast, a traditional wear of Turkish women.

8. Yurts of Resurrection:Ertugrul, a new attraction

Yurts of drama Ertugrul is new attraction to many living in modern dwellings.
There were about 200 Yurt or ger made to film Ertugrul.  What is "yurt"; the mesmerizing tents, you watch in Ertugrul.  These round tents are portable and covered with felt.  These type of tents were used by nomads in places of central Asia for more than three thousand centuries. With time these yurts change in designs and styles. Though it was challenging to live in yurts in extreme climates.

 9.   Resurrection:Ertugrul, a more fiction than reality

  Though popular drama Ertugrul has five seasons but in real, there is not any written and accurate history available about the life of Ertugrul. Only 4-5 pages history is available about Usman but with different names even. Most of history is written after centuries, death of Ertugrul. The fiction story is derived from traditional stories of Ottoman empire which are passing on from generation to generation. The drama justify the real soul of history and entertainment that why many people even after knowing the fact relate to drama so much. Pakistani audience overwhelmed with the Ertugrul to extent that they lecture Ertugrul cast on their instagram accounts to spend a pious life like they did in the series.

                   Ertugrul is a historical TV series which covers most terrible wars and warriors of 13th century in detail.
