Pakistan studies paper of class 9^th will be taken only in Urdu. Due to irrelevant content found in Pakistan studies books, the government advised not to issue the English version of Pakistan studies for class 9^th.

All 9^th class students will give Pakistan studies papers in Urdu in the board exam of 2021.

The reduced Punjab exam board syllabus has named the smart syllabus under program ALP accelerated Learning Program can be seen online free. The smart syllabus will be covered in six months i.e. from September to early March. Ministry of education has already announced that annual Punjab board exams will be conducted 15 days later the previously practiced dates in 2021.  The Lahore board, Rawalpindi board, Gujranwala board, and all other Punjab board annual datasheets will most probably start in at last week of March 2021. Punjab textbook and curriculum board has issued the smart syllabus under notification NO.SO (ER-2) I-9/2020 and approved by the ministry of education.

The Punjab board smart syllabus has mentioned the chapter numbers, page numbers, including questions and topics in detail. The smart syllabus is valid for all examination boards of Punjab. 

All examination boards in Punjab will follow the Smart Syllabus.

The examination boards of Punjab, Pakistan are:

• BISE Gujranwala
• BISE Sahiwal
• BISE DG Khan
