Pakistan educational year starts April of every year but 2020 made the normal
practices changed. All educational institutes remained closed since March 2020 for
more than 6 months due to coronavirus pandemic. As educational year couldn’t
start in time and students had to suffer a waste of time and study loss. Many
concepts in higher classes need significant attention which can’t be solved
without assistance. To lessen the burden from teachers & students, Federal
Board of intermediate and secondary education has uploaded the reduced syllabus

when educational institutes have opened from 15th September 2020 and
about 6 months are left in Board annual exam of class 9th and 10th
, then Federal board has reduced the syllabus for all subjects of class 9th
and 19th. Only important topics, parts of questions, review
questions and MCQs are included in reduced syllabus 2021. Also reduced practical syllabus is uploaded on the fbise website.
Teachers
are advised to reschedule the academic calendar accordingly. Paper patterns for
send up exams and annual board exams will be from the reduced syllabus. The

Annual board exams will be started 15 days later than usual dates, according to tweet from federal board intermediate education. Most probably the annual SSC I and SSC II exams will start in the last week of March 2021 and early April 2021. Date sheet of SSC I and SSC II federal board exam will be uploaded in February 2021. Schools are open in Pakistan following the strict SOPs. The students are divided in groups and to be called on alternate days. To cover the syllabus in time, winter vacations have been finished from the academic calendars. Also Saturdays are observed as working days in all educational institutes.
