IKMC - Kangaroo Mathematics Competitions Tests for Grade 1- Grade 2. Practising from Kangaroo past papers for KSF Problems PreEcolier (class 1 & 2) helps students to achieve higher scores in the Kangaroo test. The time allowed International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest IKMC -KSF Pre Ecolier Problem class 1-2 papers is 120 minutes or 2 hours.
The IKMC Past papers for Grade 1-2 students has three sections.
Section 1 comprises 8 MCQs of 3-points each, section B has 8 MCQs with 4-points each, Section C has 8 MCQs 5-points each. Each MCQ has 5 choices A-E to choose one right from. There are total 24 problems with varied difficulty levels. The test is of analytical reasoning format type comprising basic Mathematics concepts in an innovative and thought provoking way. The purpose of IKMC paper is to inculcate the love for mathematics in the students.
There is no deduction for unanswered question. To avoid negative scores, students must answer where they are sure. An individual participation is not possible in IKMC. Participants can only register from their schools. An individual participation is not allowed in IKMC. However, they can self practice IKMC past papers to improve their skills. Schools can register for IKMC without any fees and encourage the students to participate with a registration fee. For detail one must visit IKMC website in the country.
