A VIDEO GAME IN PYRAMIDS Hassan was weeping loudly when he felt movement in the bricks. The stone inside the walls were changing their places. All mummies went back in the walls and all bricks of that room changed as deck of cards. He could see faces of kings, queens, jacks and spades were moving at all sides. ‘I have seen all this before,’ Hassan tried to remember something. ‘This pattern resembles my video game,’ he remembered after sometime. ‘Come on Hassan, you can do it. It’s just like a video game but be careful to earn at each level,’ he heard Zaka from somewhere. ‘Zaka, where are you?’ ‘Just play, use your fingers. That wicked scientist Sigma is stopping me from approaching here,’ Zaka shouted.   He pointed to one brick with the king; it changed its position according to Hassan’s thought. Hassan continued his game by moving his hand in air. He put 4 kings, jacks and spades in a row but he couldn’t find the fourth queen on any brick to complete his turn....

A CURSED DOOR  ‘Hassan take my hand’ he heard Murtaza after a while.  Murtaza was able to grab him while hanging from the one end of rope. Termites were throbbing on their hands. It was too aching and irritating but Murtaza didn’t leave his hand. He pulled Hassan by all his force and got him. They all landed on the sack of sand. Add caption ‘I don’t want to go further’ Hassan was terrified. ‘Ok, as you wish,’ the robbers hold their lanterns, lit them again and moved forward. ‘Come on Hassan, we can’t stay here,’ ‘Look for the small door here’ chief read his book in the shadowy dim light. After looking at different corners, a small door appeared at the base. ‘Open it,’ one of the robbers gave a shovel to Murtaza. ‘Here’s a handle,’ he pointed towards a wooden ring. ‘I can’t,’ Murtaza pulled that handle with great force but fell back. ‘Keep on trying. Hey, what are you staring at?  Help him out,’ they gave another shovel to Hassan. ‘It’s t...

‘This way,’ the chief robber pointed towards the dark lobby.  Suffocation and deep smell held their breath as soon as they started off. A mysterious quietness was overpowering the gloomy way. Hassan felt his feet swamping in the sand. The footprints of pharos were departed in kaput bricks in their way. ‘We have nothing while alive and King Khufu constructed this giant and enormous pyramid as his burial place’ one of the robber said.  ‘Pharos believed in life after death, so they buried their nobles with treasures and slaves. After all he was an authoritative king. His interment deserved this,’ the chief robber looked angry.  ‘I’m feeling drowsy after looking at the lot of puzzled ways and lobbies here. It would take a long to search for each other. What if we lost in these cursed riddles,’ the first robber was reluctant to go forward. ‘Hey silly, a man with more than one wife should learn from this structure to hide him from them. He made three separate pyramids...

.......The robbers were able to grab five of the students. They pulled their hostages and jumped at one of the small boats at one side. The naked swords clutched the screams and resistance of hostages. Murtaza and Hassan were also shivering among the hostages. ‘You fool; you could only grab five dumb without their bags. What will I do with them?’ the chief robber yelled, waiting at distance in another boat. ‘We had to experience a lot of resistance there, and also rescue boats were about to…,’ ‘Get out of my sight otherwise…,’ The chief was boiling with anger. The other men fled on their boat. ‘Who one among you have the identity cards of your madrassa,’ the chief robber thumbed up Murtaza’s neck with the sharp edge of his dagger. ‘I asked you about something,’ he went to another hostage after not having an answer. ‘I’m empty pocket right now,’ one of the students begged for his mercy, when the chief tossed him in the water. ‘Then there is no need to overburden this...

SHIP WENT UPS AND DOWN  …..‘Lessons and lectures even on an educational trip. Isn’t there a bell system worked in 11 th century to get rid of these interpretations?’ Hassan looked around for a clock. ‘Don’t ask for it, dude. A 40 minutes bound periods are indigestible most of the time,’ Murtaza got worried on his idea. ‘This is done for the…,’ the teacher was about to finish the lecture when their ship shuddered with a sudden jolt. They all rolled to one side of the room and then to another corner.  It was about to ups and down. They tried to hold any support from the rolling vases, lanterns, wooden pens and even the paper leaves but all went in vein. The ship seemed to be crashed soon. It was revolving like a fish tail. The trembling stopped after a while and it came to a less intense swinging mode. Some students dared to come outside.  A small boat was rushing fast after hitting their ship. It was no use to follow them except to yelling on them. Another decor...
