YOU
BLOCKED THE SEWAGE
‘Why
are you throwing all wrappers at the side of dust bin’? Wania yelled at Umer.
‘Put
them inside,’ she ordered.
‘It’s
your turn now,’ Umer took out a pack of biscuits and talked to it, after
throwing a wrapper of big size chips.
‘What’s
your problem? I’ll do whatever I want,’ he turned to her for a while and moved
to his seat.
‘I am going to tell the teacher when he’ll
come. You are too annoying.’ Wania was their class wrap. They were in computer
lab for the computer lesson.
‘He
eats too much and goes to washroom many times; I think the sewerage system has
been collapsed because of him.’ A burst of laugh followed the Hassan’s loud
comments.
‘Hey,
all of you looked so happy.’ Sir Nadeem entered the computer lab and all of
them got quiet. He was their computer
teacher and favourite of all. He was graduated from Oxford University and came
back to serve his country although he had good offers there. He was a founder
and developer of many video games.
DEVELOP
YOUR VIDEO GAME
‘I
want you to become the creator of new soft wares and video games not just the
users. Use internet for research and logics not to waste time in gossiping and
playing.’ He usually advised his students.
Teaching was his passion, so he took out time
to offer his services as a visiting teacher in different institutes. At the end
of his lesson he tells them tips to develop their video game and also tell many
websites which could improve their learning, that’s why all the students liked
him.
‘Oh, I got it; you’re expecting a
free lesson in the absence of electricity. Then well, some laptops are charged
unfortunately. We’ll work in groups.’ He disappointed them with a big smile.
‘Murtaza
only your group is left, you can go in my office to use my laptop,’ he pointed
towards at one corner of a lab after putting five students in each group. Wania, Umer, Shireen and Hassan walked with
Murtaza to the office.
‘There’ll be no discussion about the video
games and face book chats.’ Sir Nadeem started his lesson.
‘Ah, when I just want
to play, play and play video games. What is the purpose of these boring
lessons?’ Hassan muttered.
‘These
boring lessons may lead you the best soft ware developer of future,’ Sir Nadeem
over heard him asked them to do the practical work.
‘It’s
been 3 hours now; power is cut down,’ Shireen’s flimsy cheeks were red in
struggle to get rid of the agitating sweating.
‘We can’t even go out in break due to heavy
rain.’ Wania was also on pins and needles badly.
‘Thanks
god, I got my proper lunch today. It’ll be difficult to reach the canteen. The
ground has turned into the muddy lake with the muttering of appealing frogs. I
would love to seize them,’ Umer took another pack of upsize chips from his bag.
They all looked at him.
‘Ok
guys. It’s just to seize the frogs,’ he put the empty wrapper in his pocket
Sir Nadeem was outside with other groups.
‘Let’s start before sir come inside.’ Murtaza opened the book and open
the laptop to start their practical, when suddenly screen of the computer got
so bright.
‘Look
at the screen of laptop, I can feel someone is pointing towards us,’ Murtaza
got their attention.
They all bowed to screen and they felt
themselves amalgamate in the computer.
OFFICES OF 24TH CENTURY
Few
minutes later they found themselves in a very big hall. They couldn’t see any
walls far behind. People were floating in the air. Some were in sitting
position but without chairs. They all wore strange hats with eyes like balls
moving around those hats. They all were gazing in the air. They were too busy
in their works that most of them didn’t notice their presence.
Suddenly three men floated towards them. They
had colored sharp eye balls, which probably scanned them. The balls on their
hats changed their colors and shapes.
‘There
should be only two boys. Who are other three kids?’
‘They all sat too close that our magnetic
reflective waves yanked all.’
‘You
nasty creatures, you can’t do anything perfect, now take them to boss in tight
security. They can be security risk for us if anyone sees them.’
‘Follow me,’ one of the floating men ordered
them and went to one side. They looked at him dumbfound and started to walk
under him. The other two men started to laugh.
‘Give them anti gravitational shoes at once,’
that man ordered. A worker brought them shoes with small fans on all sides. As
soon as they wore those shoes, they felt themselves so light that they rose up
in air. It was difficult to control their bodies. They were floating ups and
down. The people on security hardly resist their mirth. After a short time they
were able to balance their bodies.
‘Come
now.’ The first man ordered them again. He was looking so annoyed and went
another side of the room. They followed him, but then hit by an invisible wall
badly. Shireen started to cry.
‘What
the hell is this? Whats going on,’ she yelled.
‘I
think we have become a part of any video game,’ Umer looked around frightened.
‘Its enough fun now, some one helps them. They
are goofs of 21st century, how can they know about ultra special
walls.’
‘They
are just two centuries behind from us but its looking that they come from Stone
Age,’ the other man looked at them strangely.
‘Two
centuries behind. Have we travelled to future this time,’ Hassan looked at
Murtaza in amazement.
‘The
four sides of this room are connected with the rooms of our offices in other
cities, only the room are connected not the whole city. These blue light, thin
curtains are actually walls. You can cross these curtains, if you just think
our official code,’ one man floated near them and helped them to cross those
very thin curtains.
‘The people around are actually
working in other cities in their offices. Every different color curtain means
the connection with a different city or a country. We can travel through these
curtains. It’s our head office on earth
so we can watch and control our employs all around the world,’ that man changed
the position of his hat and gazed in the air. He wrote something by using his
fingers and waited.
‘I’m
done,’ he moved back and disappeared behind a dark red wall or a curtain.
‘Listen,
stop. Which place is this? How we reached here?’ wania floated behind him but
in vain. There was no one around, red walls surrounded them.
ROOF
TRANSPORT SYSTEM OF FUTURE
‘Hurry up,
get in,’ they looked around at a harsh call but the voice was coming from the
roof. They first time noticed the roof transport section. It opened and an oval
shaped vehicle moved near them. That ball grabbed them and settled them inside
as they floated near to it. That ball started to revolve in air fast but they
didn’t feel its movement. They could see the changed sceneries outside from the
windows of that ball. The world outside was moving around them and their ball
was stationery at one place.
‘2318,’ Hassan loudly read the floating
numbers at one side.
In
astonishment they looked down, there were sky rise buildings, made of colorful
papers. There were not any cemented walls or buildings any where but they
observed a lot of trees and greenery all around.
'oh future houses will be built on trees then,'
'oh future houses will be built on trees then,'
‘If
I’m not mistaken, these are humans, who are sitting on trees like birds,’ wania
pointed outside the window in astonishment.
‘Oh,
then humans have raised these forests for them. Obviously now they must be able
to fly like birds, so they have captured poor creatures’ habitants now,’
Murtaza saw a lot of tree house and humans even at the top of large trees.
People
were floating in bubbles with their families. There were ball or egg like
vehicles every where. Those balls were moving in circular paths at high speeds.
They couldn’t see any cars or buses over there.
‘Look
at those hanging houses,’ Wania pointed to one side.
‘Wow!
They are hung without strings,’ Murtaza’s eyes were amazed.
‘There
are hanging
hospitals, markets and offices all around but strangely there is not any school building anywhere,’ Hassan took their attention to his extraordinary discovery.

WHY
YOU DIDN’T HAVE SPACE ROADS?
‘Who
are you? What is all this going on?’ wania dared to ask the driver.
‘Boss
has called you from past. We had to face a lot of difficulty to grab you here.
Couldn’t you people develop the space roads at your time? Now we had to travel
a long way to planet “Alishan”,’ that man looked annoyed.

‘Which
planet is this? Are we moving to space?’ they all looked each other in
