"Cornered Tigers", Mehvish Hayat told the world about Pakistan-fusionstories

Mehvish Hayat is a top-rated film star of Pakistan that has several super hit dramas and films to her credit. Asides of her outstanding acting, Mehvish also has gained the admiration and eminence among all other Pakistani actors and actresses by back lashing Indian negativity against Pakistan through its media.

Mehvish is known to play at front foot when it comes to her country. In her recent tweet, after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s inspirational address to the UN General assembly, she stated that remember the Pakistani nation are like “cornered tigers” don’t provoke us!

“Cornered tigers” is a famous term associated with PM Imran Khan which he used at the time of world cup, 1992. The Pakistani team was at the edge of a way out of the world cup squad at that time, when Imran Khan encouraged his team with a champion's speech. He budged them up with the term “cornered tigers”; anyone can be more dangerous when someone attempts to push it in the corner. This was the resonance of Imran’s speech that Pakistan won the world cup title, 1992.

Mehvish applauded PM Imran Khan that he’s the leader who so eloquently put our case to the world. The UN has to take heed & end the oppression in Kashmir.

Mehvish seems to stand firm with Pakistan’s strong narrative against terrorism and its support for Kashmiri people in India, who are locked down in curfew for more than a month. She propped up PM’s speech at UN General Assembly by reminding all about Imran Khan and his team’s strong resilience powers by using the term "cornered tigers".

Earlier, during a ceremony in Norway, where she was awarded the Pride of Performance Award by Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, the actress has pointed out against anti-Pakistan and Islamophobia content in Hollywood and Bollywood films. She pointed out that both popular film industries are tarnishing the image of Pakistan globally. She emphasized that Bollywood stop demonizing the image of Pakistan and the world should also consider the sacrifices of Pakistan amid a war against terror.

Mehvish Hayat is also an ambassador of UK based global charity organization. She also works for many charity organizations in Pakistan. We last glimpsed her in a charity camp, which was held for eye disease near Jhelum. Mehvish was awarded “Tamgha e Imtiaz” earlier this year for knowing her work in arts and films.
