Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain are again ready to appear as duo… wait, not to hype sensation in any award show as they created in Lux style award by popping up their
engagement amid hugs and kisses or by sharing the glimpses of their honeymoon but the couple is appearing in an upcoming drama serial ‘JHOOTI’. The drama is written by Ali Moeen and directed by Ramish Rizvi.
The drama will be aired on ARY-Digital and its first promo is out. The first promo of drama "jhooti" is receiving bashing from the audience for showing the Iqra in a negative character. The promo shows that Iqra is crying after looking at scratches on her face which she excuses to be digged up by her husband. In a while, Iqra transforms the crying into laughing to applause her acting of blaming her husband for those lame scars. Iqra is paired with Ahmed Ali Butt as her wife who uses to tell lies to make her life a better go; this is what a story and a title of the drama unveiled to us after spying on the characters. Another significant role of drama is done by Yasir Hussain, who is going to join Iqra in episodes while struggling against her lies. “
Jhooti” is the first drama where Iqra and Yasir are paired together after their wedding.
The audience criticised ARY Digital for producing such stories where women are more shown with negative and miscreant traits. In Pakistan where a significant number of women are suffering and struggling against domestic violence and emotional pressures then such dramas can hit their status and respect in their families. This drama "Jhooti" is another addition in misogynistic stories of Pakistani dramas where the lead female character is dishonest with her counterpart and can cross any limit for money.
Earlier Yasir Hussain shared a picture on his Instagram account, where the duo is peering each other with intense smile and affection. Yasir also added a story for his followers to praise his lady in red, Iqra Aziz. He states that
