“THE PROOF OF THE PANCAKE IS IN THE EATING”,
we’ve changed the phrase from pudding to pancake as you can’t judge how yummy pancakes are until you taste it.“IT IS AS EASY AS PANCAKE”,
we twist pancake with pie, just to grab your notice to update that task of making pancakes is so simple and quick that beats many other snacks in taste and time consumption. In many developed countries the recipe of cake is attached to ovens, but many of them don't know that pancakes don't need any oven. If you’re a homeowner without oven and most possibly the resident of Asian or any African country, then it’s good news for you as pancakes can be cooked on a traditional griddle (Tawa) or frying pan on the usual stove. Now hold your tongues for a while, and come to the kitchen to taste delicious pancakes. We’re going to share the simplest recipe of pancakes.INGREDIENTS:
4 tablespoon white flour (maida) or whole-wheat flour (atta)3 tablespoon sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoon cooking oil or butter
½ cup milk
1 pinch baking powder
SERVING: 1-2 PERSONS
TIME: 10-15 MINUTES
METHOD:
Put white flour, sugar, egg, baking powder and oil in a bowl and add milk while stirring the mixture gently until it is slightly thick. Use a fork or whisk to mix the batter for a good result. You don’t need to over whisk the pancake batter-like normal cake. Keep on stir the batter only no lumps are left in it.
Once the mixture is ready then there are two methods to cook pancakes out of it.
Method 1:
Heat the stove and put greased frying pan or griddle (Tawa) on it. Put the whole batter on it and cook from one side on medium heat. When one side is brown and turns it ups and down and cook another side well. Now take the fluffy big round cake off the pan and cut it in triangular pieces to taste it with hot tea in breakfast. The above method takes less time and the result is somewhat close to normal cake appearance.Method 2:
Now we’ll come to traditional round small pancakes. Heat the greased pan and pour small portions of batter on frying pan or Tawa. Try to make it smart circle shapes. Let the pancakes be brown from one side and turn the other side until it is brown. Take pancakes out on a flowery plate and enjoy it with coffee in the evening snake.“HAVE YOUR PANCAKES AND EAT IT ALL”
PRECAUTION:
Don’t let any lumps stay in the mixture and whisk the batter well
Always cook pancakes on medium heat.
