Ingredients:
1 kg mutton
1/4 kg sliced tomatoes
4 medium-sized sliced onions
2 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon cream
2table spoon Yogurt
1 tablespoon chopped ginger and garlic
According to taste
Salt (namak)
Red pepper (Lal Mirch)
Turmeric (Haldi)
Black pepper (Kali Mirch)
Garam massla
Green chili (Hari Mirch)
Cooking oil
For Decoration
coriander leaves (dhania)
Green chili
Sliced Ginger (adrak)
Precaution:
Be careful while adding red chili powder for not to make karahi too spicy. The real flavor of butt karahi appears with green chili while cooking and black pepper at the end.
Method:
1. Put mutton, onion, tomato, red chili powder, salt, turmeric, chopped green chili and one glass of water in a pressure cooker and let it cook for 30 minutes.
2. After 30 minutes open the lid of the cooker and shift the mutton from cooker to karahi. Add cooking oil and stir the butt karahi till all water dried out.
3. Now add yogurt and let butt karahi soak the flavor.
Add chopped green chili, sliced ginger, garam masala and continue cooking for 3 minutes.
4. Add fresh cream and butter at the end. Butt karahi is ready.
Decoration:
Now add corridor leaves, green chili, 1/2 tablespoon black pepper, and sliced ginger at the end and mix it well.
