Iqra Aziz copy-cat wedding dress and Pakistani fashion designers-fusionstories

Nomi Ansari is an accomplished and famous Pakistani fashion designer who designed Iqra Aziz wedding day dress. Spectators went astonished after looking at the bride Iqra Aziz on her Barat wearing Nomi Ansari outfit. Unfortunately, the astonishment was not due to the charm of the wedding dress of Iqra Aziz, but because the dress appeared to be copy-cat from the wedding day dress of an Indian actress Priyanka Chopra.

Iqra and Yasir Hussain's wedding was the most awaiting function of the year. Everyone was expecting unique, exciting and perfect festivity just as Iqra and Yasir are. All media eyes were on the function. The traditional mehndi function was a star-stud glamorous one. Now all the eyes were waiting for the  lady of the evening and star of the day; the bride Iqra Aziz on barat.

Iqra Aziz was looking stunning in fresh red blouse and heavily frilled red lenga. The wedding  dress was designed by Nomi Ansari and everyone was praising his work. In no time social media was overloaded with Priyanka's wedding day pictures wearing the same outfit. Many argued that it is Iqra's big day and it is her choice to decide and design the outfit so one should keep its critical eyes away.

It is also a fact that red-on-red is a very old and most adopted style in the subcontinent and it is nothing to do with any kind of copy.
Sometimes fashion designers put on an excuse that clients force them to prepare the dress of their choice ignoring their suggestions. Pakistani fashion designers are world-famous for their hard work, passion and giving out unique traditional styles and no one expects such easy going from themAnyone can borrow the ideas but fashion designers borrow and twist the ideas into a brand fresh and unique. Iqra Aziz is looking more beautiful and cute in her wedding dress than of Indian actress but in the time of digital access to every level Pakistani fashion designers need to be more conscious and focused while displaying their work on big occasions to avoid any bashing and mocking from spectators.
