When Ameena comes to know that there is not a holiday on Eid in the US, then she felt quite distressed. She misses the significance of the most awaited festive day of the year. She wants to pick up vibrant and joyful Eid celebrations back with her sister. To make her plans true, Ameena files a petition in the court and plea to Eid day is recognized as a holiday in America.
Her struggles don't meet the plan and she gives up hope. 'She may not celebrate and feel the exhilaration of Eid day again like she did in Pakistan, ' she thinks. Just then her parents came with good news. Ameena's teacher collaborates to celebrate Eid at school with her class-fellows. This may calm Ameena down and she may get used to the new celebration of her biggest and favorite day of the year in the US.
It looks that Disney following its recent motto of diversity and unique content is up with another mesmerizing project based on Eid.
It'll be a short budget film. The production is based in Los Angles and the film will be directed by Pakistani director Aqsa Altaf. Casting of the Disney movie on Eid is under process. A Hollywood blogger shared the casting requirement from the studio. Casting info and links are also shared in the post. The characters need to fluent in Urdu to make the Disney Eid venture more exciting and relateable.
