A pregnant
woman; a spicy content of every Turkish drama
Turkish
dramas are making vibes across the world through its content and costly
production. Turkish dramas have crossed an amount of $4 billion through its
exports. To keep the curve of popularity at peak, Turkish production companies,
directors and writers are striving hard to fabricate out of the box content and
stories.
Being a big
fan of Turkish dramas, I followed many of its series and couldn’t stop praising
them but at sides, I realized a most annoying, common content in all Turkish
dramas was to constantly showing a pregnant woman. Almost all Turkish dramas
whether they’re historic epic or present stories, mostly a woman is there, who
is falsely claiming to be pregnant from the first episode. Her false pregnancy claim with showing a
bump discloses until another woman is there to replace the same character.
Interestingly,
if a woman is really pregnant in any Turkish drama, then it really happens that
she is able to deliver it alive even after 50 episodes. If I start from my
first Urdu-dubbed watch Ishq e mamnoo to Fatima Gul, Aik haseena aik deewana to
recently airing Humari Kahani, every Turkish drama must have a spicy element of
pregnant woman in all episodes.
Humari Kahani season 2 is a recent example of dragging the story with this tested spice. Season 1 got hit in masses with a fresh and relatable content but season 2 comes with a few already featured scenes.
First "Zaley" played the character which then replaced by "Zainen" with same dialogues. In last episodes, the lead character "Fiza" will attract the viewers as a pregnant woman and the drama will be finished after shadowing an annoyance amongst fans.

Sometimes,
the character go with the story and viewers don’t bother to digest these women
but mostly it seems that writer was
stuck to the content for this character and dragging it with an old spicy formula.
Next, the expected baby will be expired and character will have few more
episodes with depressing dialogues.
Every
entertainment industry shows the characters which closely relate to their
society as Pakistani dramas are incomplete without portraying a miserable woman
who is under stress from husband and in laws. It may be a business technique that "we show
what audience likes" but a humble request to Turkish companies is the same spicy content of showing a pregnant woman will
soon bore the fans. Some stories can also see hits without this element too.
