NMDCAT cancelled, new syllabus, new date and registration ordered by SHC
Ndmcat new test date is 29th November, 20w0.
A verdict from Sindh High court came on Wednesday where SHC stopped the Pakistan medical commission PMC for conducting National medical and dental college admission test nmdcat which was scheduled on 15th November 2020.
According to SHC verdict SHC halted the nmdcat test until the formation of academic board and academic authority. Given 15 days to form same and thereafter finalize and hold nmdcat.
Students already registered will be eligible to sit in nmdcat new test date.
The news of nmdcat cancelled was first shared by lawyer Jibran Nasir, who fought the case, on his tweet account.
Later the news was confirmed by PMC official account,
"The nmdcat has been postponed by orders of honorable Sindh high court. The reschduled nmdcat examination date will be announce after compliance of the directions of honorable court'.
It is to note that nmdcat has been cancelled just 4 days before the test dates. Students have been issued the centres after providing them roll number slips.

The intention of PMC to attain uniformity in medical admission test through nmdcat has entered in challengable grounds. SHC also criticized PMC notification regarding, students can mark question that seems beyond syllabus during test. SHC call this action 'unreasonable and nonstandard'.
Mdcat test already been delayed because of coronavirus break. A late mdcat means late admissions in medical and dental colleges which usually start their sessions in Dec/January every year.
Students are feeling frustrated and getting difficulty in preparation for nmdcat test cancellation.
