Commonwealth UK Scholarship For Pakistan 2021 Fully Funded applications are open now.
HEC with collaboration of UK has announced commonwealth scholarships for the academic year 2021. There is not any fees for online submission of fees. A candidate can register & apply on online portals of HEC & Commonwealth website before deadline.
Degree level:
The commonwealth scholarships for Ph.D. programs are open for
- All Pakistani &
- AJ& K nationals.
Applicants must submit applications to HEC and commonwealth's online portal to observe further processing on UK fully funded commonwealth scholarships.
Financial Coverage:
The Scholarship will cover the following:
- Approved airfare will be given from your home country to the UK and return at the end of your award
- Approved tuition fees is funded
- A Stipend (living allowance) will be given at the value of £1,116 per month or £1,369, for those at universities in London metropolitan area (rates quoted at 2020-21 levels).
- Warm clothing allowance, where applicable will be offered.
- Study travel grants will be offered towards the cost of study-related travel within UK or Overseas.
- There will be provision of funds towards the cost of fieldwork done overseas where approved.
- Mid-term visit payment of airfare to your home country
Family allowances as follows:
- In case, you are accompanied by your spouse but no children: spouse allowance of £240 per month for a maximum period of nine months, if you and your spouse are living together at the same address in the UK (unless your spouse is also in receipt of a scholarship; other conditions also apply)
- In case, you are accompanied by your spouse and children: spouse allowance of £240 per month and child allowance of £240 per month for the first child, and £118 per month for the second and third child under the age of 16, in case your spouse and children are living with you at the same address in the UK (unless your spouse is also in receipt of a scholarship; other conditions also apply)
- In case, you are accompanied by your children but no spouse: child allowance of £480 per month for the first child, and £118 per month for the second and third child under the age of 16, when your children are living with you at the same address in the UKhip will cover the following:
Last date to Apply
Deadline for HEC portal: The last date to submit an online application on the HEC portal is 18th January 2021 time 1600 hours PST.
Deadline for Commonwealth portal: Duly checked and properly filled applications must submit on the commonwealth scholarship portal by 18th January 2021.
The required documentation must submit by February 1, 2021.
The incomplete, false informed applications will be rejected.
The hard copies, in hand applications, will not be entertained.
NOTE: IELTS might be required for the Scholarship.
