Educational degree attestation is a must to prove the authenticity of the document. A degree attestation is mainly done by HEC has announced an online eportal for attestation of degrees.

According to HEC:
"All the applicants for degree attestation should apply through http://eservises.hec.gov.pk with effect from December 18, 2020.
The degree attestation service be no longer available on
http://eportal.hec.gov.pk

Old applicants will use the same username and password that they using at the "portal" to log in at "services"."

Degree attestation is one requirement when anyone looking for Immigration, further education, Employment or any other Purpose abroad then different Countries Require Educational Documents Attestation. The educational degree attestation is done by the Higher education commission HEC in Pakistan and then Embassies In Pakistan for education, employment abroad.

 The educational certificates and degrees from HEC approved educational institutes can be attested by using the HEC e-portal now sitting at home.

Online STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE FOR HEC ATTESTATION USING E PORTAL

HEC has taken a step forward. Now the educational degrees and certificates can be attested by HEC online degree attestation system, named e-portal

Applicants can apply & attest to the degrees from their homes.

Here is a step-by-step guide for online degree attestation from the  HEC e-portal:

 

  • Open and apply from a web link to apply degree attestation online is:(http://eservices.hec.gov.pk)
  • Get registered at HEC e-portal
  • Create an account
  • Fill in the  online application
  • Upload scanned documents
  • Wait to application get scrutinized online at HEC head office/regional centers as per applicant’s option
  • Check SMS/Email to schedule your visit at the HEC office accordingly or sending a courier for degree attestation


 

 

You’ve two ways to get your degree attested from HEC after the  application is scrutinized:

 

 1. Self-submission/authorize a person

2. Through courier service

 

1. For Self-submission/ authorize person degree attestation

 

In this case, the applicant will personally require scheduling his visit at the HEC office for attestation of his documents or send documents through an authorized person. The applicant will bring & submit these documents on attestation window while his personal visit at HEC:

  •  All his original documents
  • A copy of the same, Bank challan form
  • A print out of the application form
  • After verification of documents, submit the fee at the bank counter in the HEC office
  • Collect your attested documents from the verification window
  •  The attestation will be done on the same day at the selected HEC office


 

2. For Degree Attestation through Courier Service:

 

After choosing the way through Courier Service, the applicant will:

  •  Deposit the attestation fee at the courier company i.e LCS/Fed Ex (For

outside Pakistani applicants).

  • Upload fee receipt
  • Upload application form
  •  Hand over the fee receipt, application form along with all your original documents to the relevant courier company representative for attestation of your documents.
  • Upload Courier Receipt (mandatory)
  •  Attestation through Courier Company will take at least 10 working days at HEC selected Office.


 

Things to consider while applying Online degree attestation from HEC e-portal

 

  1.   After selecting courier as a way for degree attestation, go to the  “My Task” section of Dashboard names “Upload Courier Receipt”.The applicant must upload the courier receipt in the HEC system. Only after this task is processed, will further tasks appear in the HEC queue for attestation. No Application will be entertained if this task is not processed.
  2. If after first scheduling, an applicant cannot find time to visit HEC offices for attestation, the applicant has the option to re-schedule his visit. 
  3.  Attestation application can be tracked by clicking on “View Attestation details” or “View application detail”.
