HOW TO SUBMIT PMC Online Admission application in private & public medical and dental colleges of Pakistan|step by step guide-fusionstories

 


 

Pakistan Medical Commission

Online Admission portal for admissions in private Medical and dental colleges of Pakistan (MBBS & BDS Program) is accepting online admission applications now. The PMC online admission portal shall remain open from 18th December 2020 till 14th January 2o21. The PMC online application date has been extended due to A level result which will be out on 11th January 2021.

PMC has launched National admission system for admissions in MBBS & BDS in all Private medical colleges of Pakistan


The online portal for public medical colleges is expected to start from 28th December 2020. 

Here is a step by step guide how to submit your application for the admission in MBBS or BDS via PMC online application portal. 

There are mainly four step to complete your PMC online application process.

HOW TO SUBMIT PMC APPLICATION


1. My Profile

  • Search www.pmc.gov.pk
  • Click on National admission system
  • Sign up or log in with your PMC account
  • Upload your photo
  • Add contact detail
  • Add mailing address
  • Save personal details
  • Enter father/guardian detail and save
  • Proceed to educational details
  • If you've done A levels, enter marks equipment to IBCC
  • Enter your Fsc. Marks and board. Your percentage will be calculated automatically. 
  • Click save

2. My Application

  • Proceed test section and enter your nmdcat roll number
  • Your result will appear automatically with an aggregate.
  • Upload all required documents ( CNIC, FSc/A level certificates, SAT II document if applying on the basis of SAT II)

  • Click save
  • If your profile form detail is complete, then 
  • 'My Application' tab will be enabled.

Note: If you do not meet the PMC merit eligibility requirements that are 65% or above marks in Fsc. and 60% or above in nmdcat entry test, you will not be able to submit your application on online portal of PMC. My application will not be enabled then. Admission of a Foreign Students, A level students shall be strictly on the basis of merit and no exception or special quota shall be created for Foreign Students.

3. Application fee


  • After "my application" select your preferred Medical or Dental college by clicking on courses from the given list. 
  • You need to select at least one medical or dental college to proceed.
  • You'll need to submit  fees for your selected Private medical colleges that is Rs 500 approx.
  • Click Save.
  • Check or tick "Undertaking" statement.
  • Click save and your application will appear in pdf form that you can recheck all details you have entered.
  • After duly check your PMC online application click submit
  • The next section will be Fee Submission
  • Click the print option. This will open a copies of challan coupons on the screen.
  • Print Challan form and submit fees in MCB.

4. Application Processing

  • The fee challans must be printed and PMC online application fee submitted to any MCB branch.
  • Again open your under process online application webpage and upload proof of fee submission
  • After the bank verifies fee submission. It may take 6-7 hours. As soon as the fee verification message will display on your application webpage. Click Submit
  • Your application is submitted.
  • You'll be notified about your merit in your desired medical or dental college as son as the merit list is out
  • Medical colleges will conduct interviews with chosen candidates before final merit list.
  • All merit list will be displayed according to given PMC deadline.






Merit Generation Criteria IN PMC:


PMC will set 80% of merit criteria and 20% will leave on colleges selection.


 For F.Sc/A-levels IBCC Equivalence certificate: 30%. 


  Entry test: 50% 

 

  Interview: 20% (to be conducted by the college)


At the end of the application process, Merit will be generated out of the 80S by PMC 


 The remaining 20S will be decided by the colleges as part of the interview. The colleges shall add the score of the interview to PMC merit and consolidate it with the MDCAT/ F.Sc. based Merit aggregate of the student issued by PMC. At the end, the medical or dental college will finalize the total aggregate out of 100 for the final merit of the students and will send to PMC.


PMC shall issue the Merit List for each college on notified date of January 2021.

Note: Here all affiliated, constituent and administered medical and dental colleges under NUMS and Agha Khan University will not be part of the PMC Online admissions portal. Any student seeking to apply to the said colleges shall be required to apply directly to the relevant university.
