Facebook-owned WhatsApp messaging app is about to stop its application working on some Android smartphones and ios phones by the start of next year 2021. Last year Whatsapp stopped supporting smartphones running on iOS 8 or older phones. WhatsApp will primarily end backing for smartphones that are using out dated operating system.
As per reports, that iPhones that do not run on iOS 9 will not able use to WhatsApp on their phones from early 2021. All iPhone 4 and old models and Models 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, 6 and 6S will need to update their operating system to iOS 9 or later to continue using WhatsApp.
Further, Android phones that do not have Android 4.0.3 will also miss ticket to WhatsApp. Here includes models like HTC Desire, Motorola Droid Razr, the Samsung Galaxy S2. Many other outdated Android phones could lose support for WhatsApp from January 1, 2021.
