Quaid e Azam University, Islamabad is best public university of Pakistan. Many talented students want to study at Quaid e Azam University but financial constraints halt their dreams. Now Quaid e Azam University administration has set a separate office of the Students’ Financial Assistance (OSFA) in collaboration with HEC to provide financial help/Scholarships to the meritorious, needy and deserving students of the University. There are about 50 types of scholarships available for all departments in the university.

Based Scholarships:
Need Based Scholarships are given to academically
qualified but needy candidate. The student must enroll in the university in
first semester.
In the Beginning of each Semester University invites
applications from the most deserving and needy students on prescribed application
forms. The applications are evaluated by the concerned Committees. Scholarship
will be awarded after necessary evaluation/interview.
All scholarships are awarded according to the prescribed
rules of the University. Donor’s scholarships are awarded per Donor’s agreement
with the University. British council scholarships are invited directly from
council. Provincial based scholarships and Pak-USAID Scholarships are also
offered in Quaid e Azam University to needy and talented students. Continuation
of all scholarships is conditioned to the satisfactory academic performance.
Students must see the office of the Students Financial
Assistance for necessary support to get the scholarships/financial assistance
from any external sources.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Students admitted on self finance basis will not be
entitled for any financial Support/Scholarship.
2. Those students who are eligible for fellowship are not
be entitled for any other scholarship from the University or any other donor
agency.
3. In case any students awarded financial assistance/need
based scholarship by the University. Later on he/she got scholarship from any
outside donor agency then he/she will be entitled for QAU Financial Assistance
to meet the remaining gap of Fee/Dues.
