1. Take a piece of cloth and cut it into a circle

I've used a big dinner plate to cut a perfect circle out of cloth. This size is good for adults and teens. You can use a compass to draw a circle on the paper and use that to cut the cloth according to your size. Generally

Adult facemask size: 10" (24 cm)
Teen: 8" (20 cm)
Child: 7" (18cm)

2. Fold the circle in 4 folds and cut 4 quadrants

3. Pick two quadrants (1/4th piece of the circle) and stitch them from the circular side.

4. Now stitch the other two quadrants from the circular side.



5. Set two stitch pieces ups and down and draw a line 2"  from both corners.



6. Stitch the two pieces from above and below till the marked line

7. Now fling the cloth from one corner

8. Iron the mask and set the open corners

9. Fold the corners neatly till the marked line

10. Put strips on both sides according to your face size and stitch

How to stitch two color sided facemask

Two color-sided facemasks are very popular as they can be used from both sides. It gives you convenience to flip any side of face mask matching to your dress. You can choose any side to wear according to your dress and occasion.

Here are steps to stitch two color sided facemask

  • Cut two circles of different colors & Cut them into quadrants



  • Pick two quadrants of each color and stitch from the circular side.



  • Mark a line at 2" inch distance from corners and stitch two joint pieces


  • Turn the sides ups and down holding mask from one corner


  • Fold the corners inside from the front side, put strip, and stitch
  • The two-sided face mask is ready just in 4 easy steps
