Review:
The novel " The Mughal Eclipse" is a heart touching story about the time when Indians strived to get rid of British in 1857. The reading of novel 'The Mughal Eclipse' was just like visual treat for me. It was just like, I was rebelling and fighting with freedom fighters Umer and Ranbir or somewhere I was wandering in the lobbies of red fort amusing with prince Abu Bakar and Prince Jawan Bakhat's quarrel. I love the bonding and passion of freedom fighters but feels pity for their expectations towards residents of Red Fort: King Bahadur Shah Zafar and Mughal Princes. The love track between Muslim Sepoy Umer Khan and the arrogant daughter of British General, Lady Angeline could be more powerful but I'm happy for the end. I think, the track of Mirza Ghalib and Sir Syed Ahmed Khan still has a strong message for the residents of subcontinent. On the whole, writer has put enormous effort researching and connecting the events. The novel has all the flavours of romance, emotions, fight and struggle.
