We all have gathered here to celebrate World literacy day.
World literacy day is celebrated on 8th September every year. It marks the international celebration and awareness campaign on literacy. In 1964 this day was declared as a holiday by the UNESCO. UNESCO has stated the importance of literacy. It states that it is a human right, a tool of personal empowerment, and a means for social and development.
Elbert Einstein once said
"Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think".

is the goal of true education.
Our educational opportunities depend on literacy. Literacy is at the heart of basic education for all. It is also important to eradicate poverty, to child mortality, to curb population misery. That is why I beieve that
If you're rich then you will get fandom, but if you're educated then you'll get respect! Because education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. The real purpose of education is to turn mirrors into Windows.
These are some of the good reasons why literacy is at the core of education for all. The main purpose of celebrating this day is to encourage awareness among people about literacy so that everyone knows about their individual and social right. It is as important as food.
