Why parents and students unhappy on Postponement of matric board exams due to corona viruses, Pakistan-new datesheets-fusionstories

Although everyone knows that schools are off,  Federal board, Lahore board, and all board matric, FA/F.SC. and Cambridge O and A level exam are postponed due corona viruses for the safety and precautionary measures from the government, but even then
the students
, and parents feel depressed, low and unhappy when they heard that matric SSC, FA/FSc. HSSC board exams and Cambridge CAIE exams are postponed due to the corona virus.

New, revised date sheet of matric, O level, FA/Fsc

Mostly it is observed that students feel joyful and excited on any break from school and exams, but in the case of matric SSC and HSSC FA/FSc exam, the students, parents, and teachers are not much happy.

Many students exclaimed that they were ready with full preparation of board SSC and HSSC exams. This coronavirus epidemic in board exams has broken their momentum of studies.

Teachers and parents are worried and unhappy on postponement of board exams  that students' attention will divert to other activities such as computer games, mobile games and excessive TV watching during corona virus break from schools and it'll affect the grades of their kids when SSC, HSSC and Cambridge O and A level exams will be conducted later.  Most of the SSC and HSSC students were done with their tuition academies and coaching centers before exams as per the previous schedule, so there is nothing scheduled with tuition too. As per safety measures, all tuition academies and coaching centers are likely to close too.

Parents are anxious and constantly thinking about the healthy and educational activities that can continue and boost the pace and tempo of their kids until the conduction of board and Cambridge exams. Unfortunately, there is not any popular or considerable online educational platform that can aid the board students to continue their preparation of exams.

For the time, schools are off till 5th April but this coronavirus school break is likely to stretch till June & July which means a long 3-month break from studies.

Parents are willing that school WhatsApp and Facebook groups should not only be used to send notifications, but there should be any mechanism, where students can get tests and worksheets sitting at home and teachers Mark and record the results online too. There should be a proper online system of giving assignments from schools where students feel bound to complete their online tasks.

Sindh government, Pakistan has announced the tentative date sheet for matric board exams. According to the minister that matric board SSC and HSSC exams will start from 15th June 2020. KPK, Baluchistan, Punjab Government Federal board Islamabad has not announced their new and revised datasheets yet but it is more likely to stretch till June too.  Matric exam will be conducted in June as per current situation suggests.

HEC, high educational authorities, and private schools association have decided to conduct Cambridge O and A level exams with Autumn session instead of May/June due to coronaviruses.

The government of Pakistan is planning to start a new academic from June instead of April. A traditional summer break of June and July is most likely to cancel and will be substituted with April/May coronavirus break 2020, so no fees deduction will be given to any student during long corona break.

Sindh government has announced that all students will be promoted to next classes from class 1  to  8th.

Most of schools are sending annual results and book lists for new classes from class 1 to class 8th  through whats app groups.
Parents should buy, bind and start coaching their kids at homes to avoid any loss of studies.

As a Muslim,  we all believe that all tests (azmaish), and cure are commanded from Almighty Allah. As a human, we can only suggest and plan in our limitations. We all hope and pray from Almighty Allah to forgive our sins, protect us, and get us out from this corona epidemic test soon, so that we can observe our students back to schools. We pray to observe our students worrying, preparing and giving their board and Cambridge exams soon. Ameen.
