Ministry of federal education held its meeting on 26th March and on 29th March 2020, to discuss the updates and policies amid the coronavirus lockdown. According to a news channel and tweet from the education ministry, many recommendations were discussed in detail with federal education minister Shafqat Mahmood to avoid the study loss of students.
A few of the recommendations were to online all lectures from class 1 to class 10th. A new National education TV channel will be launched to telecast free online lectures of all subjects to avoid study the loss of students. The channel will more likely to start from the first week of April.
The teachers will be able to deliver lectures, giving assignments and check homework from online lectures.
All online lectures will be telecasted on cable TV too, for the students who don't have access to the internet. Teachers are asked to provide learning content to web developers that can be aired free of charge on TV channels.
Different private schools have already started to use the online system of lectures successfully. APS one such school where teachers are giving online assessments and checking them online.

Online lectures of all subjects Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, English, Science for class 9th and class 10th will be aired free on the National education channel in the first step. Online lectures of science and Math will be aired free from class 1 to class 8th.
