A seasoned actress Samina Ahmed, 70, and a director Manzar Sehbai, 70, wedding
is a news of the town nowadays. Contrary to expectations, the news of Samina and Manzar Nikkah met the great applause from the society and fans.

Pakistan is a country where the wedding after the age of 30 seems difficult and become almost impossible if you cross 40. Females specially carry the pressure of being alone and no one feels them to give any marital support as soon as
their age mount. If any aged male, single look for bride then the youngest of her is in demand.
Then Samina Ahmed and Sehbai have tried to break this taboo. The wedding is more taken as to make a family rather than to comradeship in Asian countries. Again, second marriage is preferred to raise the children and considered as a guilty if it is done just for one's own sake.

Samina Ahmed was divorced with two children in 1993, when her husband Fareed Ahmed left her for her ex-friend film actress Shamim Ara. Later, Shamim Ara, left Fareed Ahmed accusing him, impotent and marked the wedding as a revenge. Fareed Ahmed died a few months after that incident. Samina Ahmed, brought up her kids and now both her son and a daughter are married and blessed with kids.
Manzar Sehbai, is also a veteran actor who lives in Canada. According to statements, he has never married before. This is his first wedding.
Samina Ahmed,
told in her recent interview that she and Manzar has married to pacify each other in this old age.
She also told that they she wanted to celebrate each function of
wedding, but Nikkah kept simple because of
coronavirus. Her "
rukhsati" will be performed after
lockdow.
Recently, Samina Ahem and Manzar Sehbai made a first public announcement after their Nikkah and thanked the fans for their love and
