Imran Khan wants to show the valor and history of Muslim heroes to youth. Very few people know in Pakistan that the Turkish series Ertugrul is banned in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Egypt and India and in many Eurpeon countries. As far as India and Eurpeon countries are concerned that it is evident that they don't want to expose great Muslim history to it's viewers and can't digest Muslim Game of throne popularity, but why this is banned in Muslim countries? One of the oldest and most influential bodies of the middle east The Global Fatwa Index (GFI) of Egypt's Dar Al aftaa recently published a statement accusing Turkey and President Erodgan to create "an area of influence" for itself using its soft power. The recent statement clarifies that resurrection: Ertugrul is an attempt to restore the Ottoman Empire in the Middle East and to regain its control on Arab countries which were once part of the Ottoman empire. GFI continued that they( Erdagon and supporters) export the idea to people and nations that they're real Muslim leaders, caliphate holders, and responsible for benefiting the Muslims worldwide. Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, and many other countries believe that President Erdogan is trying to spread its power through media campaigns. In a way, this ban is political and because of President Erdogan. In reality, Turkish dramas are very popular in the Middle East and break records one after another. Some media representations stated that this ban is political to lessen Turkey's media power influence from the Middle East but still the drama is highly watched online in the Middle East. Some even stated that Turkey is out of 100 year treaty "treaty of Lausanne" which it signed in July1923 after world war 1 and looking to rule again. According to treaty, Turkey was banned to talk about caliphate and shariat laws. It was declared a secular state and even calling prayer Azaan in Arabic was banned. Turkey was also banned of drilling minerals from anywhere in the world so that it could remain crippled. Turkey's important sea port was notified international and Turkey couldn't get revenue of it's routes. When the Turkey is near to set free from 100 year treaty then the world and specially the Muslim world is startled and terrified on Turkey's new role in the world under the leadership of Erdogan. Arabs think that Turkey is on it's way to restore its a plan to flourish as powerful empire and restoring caliphate once again and soft power is one of it's plans. Ottoman Empire ruled about 600 years comprising 36 sultan's over three continents and about 45 countries of modern day including Saudi Arabia, Middle East, Egypt. Calphate Usmania or The Ottoman Empire ended and broke into many countries when it has to see defeat in first world war 1 against British allies and Turkey was formed as a new country. All Ottoman successors were killed or expatriated. Turkey had to sign 100 year bearing "Treaty of Lausanne" for it's survival which is going to end in July 2023.share and Comment
