Step 1: Write on Ms-Word
Write or
compose your book document in Ms-word. Write titles and subtitles for each of
your chapter and get it checked for any typo or grammatical errors using any
online grammar check websites like Grammarly or Ginger etc for free. Insert
hyperlinks and illustrations, pictures or any other detail in Ms-word before

Step 2: Login to kindle Amazon
Open www.amazon.com. You’ll reach the home page of Amazon.
Scroll down and click at self publish
with us.
A new window
will pop-up to boost your energies with a message of GET STARTED.
Here you’ll get a short video on how to get
your book publish on kindle KDP. Hold on here and sign-up to make your account
on Kindle direct publishing. Once you’re signed in then you can move further.
Click on “+
kindle e book” under “Create a New Title”
Step 3: Sign up in Amazon Kindle and fill in the details of your book
You’ll come
up with an introduction form. Write your kindle e book detail and fill in the
required fields. Your book title, description, keywords, author name, series
number and click “Save & Continue”.

jump to 2nd page of form. It is e book content detail form on kdp
To download
your manuscript on kindle, it should be in .docs, docx, HTML, MOBI, RTF, e pub,
plain text but I recommend you to download “Kindle create” to transform your
manuscript in a professional book form. Hold on here.
Step 4: Download Kindle create on kdp
Download “Kindle
create”. It may take time but don’t get worried. Your time will be pay off. Kindle
create will open in a separate window.
You’re in
kindle create page now. Click new project. Select type of your book and click
Choose Files. A window from documents will pop up. Now choose a docx file of
your manuscript and click Open. For example I chose “cost of publishing a book”
docx file.
Kindle Kdp
will start importing your book content. Be patient, it’ll only take a few
minutes to get your book publish on Amazon Kindle.
Scroll to
right and customize your ebook elements and formatting. You can change
titles, subtitles, font size here.
Step 5: Compose your book on kdp and upload manuscript
Add title page,
dedication and copyright text of your book. Once you’re satisfied then click
“publish”. Once your project is saved as kpf file in documents then a window
will pop up showing “your file is ready to publish”. Click OK.
Scroll or
click back to your Amazon kindle direct publishing page and now click on
“upload ebook manuscript”.
A window
will pop up in document file. Look for your saved book title in docx. form or
in kpf and click open.
Congrats,
you successfully uploaded your book on kindle Amazon.
Step 5: Create Cover of your book on Amazon kindle
Click on
“launch cover creator” or upload your own cover. I made my book cover in
“paint” and resize it in 1000 pixel in paint before uploading it on kindle.
Once you
upload your cover then click “save & continue”.
You’re at
third and last page of kindle direct publishing. You’ve to decide kindle e book
pricing form. The last step to your dream of publishing and selling your book

Step 6: Decide price, royalty of your book
Decide price,
royalty of your book and click “publish your book”.
Your book
will be live on Kindle Amazon in 72 hours. You’ll get an e mail when your book
is live for audience. Now it is time to market and promote your book. For this
