Facebook messanger ready to give tough time to Zoom and google meet

No one can deny the fact that the Zoom app has invaded and won more engagement and more screen time than any other app or software like Facebook, Twitter, or even Google during COVID-19 lockdown. Millions of students join zoom classes in the morning and thousand of meetings conduct on zoom along the day that zoom saw a jump from 10 million users on December 19 to 300 million daily users on April 20. People connect, chat, decide, and work through Zoom. Another alternate or competitor we yet see, is only Google meet which is being popular after Zoom and sharing Zoom's authority.

Online video conferencing, online classes, online schooling, online meetings, online shopping are the terms, the new normal is going to be normal even after COVID-19 pandemic let the humans breadth freely on planet earth and this is what social media giant Facebook smelled out and has decided to give a tough time to Zoom.

Zoom app came out to be a blessing in disguise and beat the world's top software and most social media apps with its free features when it comes to online connection amid COVID-19 lockdown.

After smelling the new fact that Facebook live broadcast doubled during COVID-19, social media giant Facebook has announced on Thursday 22nd July 2020 that Facebook is expanding its messanger rooms and Facebook live features to compete for online meeting apps. It'll allow Facebook users to broadcast live with up to 50 people and to conduct group calls and meetings for free.

This new advancement in the features of Facebook will be seen to compete for online conferencing apps like Zoom and Google meet.

The joinable Facebook live video calls can be launched directly from Facebook messenger and the host can invite people to join the meeting even if they are not on Facebook.

Facebook room can be shared and people outside the messenger room can also see what's happening in the room based on room creator permission.
Facebook announced that Facebook room features will be available in a few countries at the start and will expand afterward.
Earlier Facebook also has adopted new privacy features that users need fingerprint and face ID authentication to see their messages.

Folks are hoping that as more people are familiar with Facebook use and some Facebook services like a recording of meetings and live sharing will make it easier for them to use Facebook for video conferencing and online classes.
