URDU 1 is a
Pakistani channel that got rating and
recognition after airing Urdu dubbed Turkish
series and dramas. Urdu 1 broadcasted
block-buster Turkish dramas Ish e mamnoo, Mera Sultan, Fatima Gul,
Fareeha, Ayesha Gul, Kaala Paisa kaala pyar, Humari Kahani which got tremendous

Turkish
drama Bizim Hikyai aired on URDU 1 after
dubbing with title of Humari Kahani. Hamari kahani is an adaptation from
Popular American series Shameless. It is a story of young girl, Fiza, who
belongs to a poor family, where her parents kept on having the kids but never
cared for them. Fiza, being the eldest child had to look after her 5 younger
siblings Rehmed, Farukh, Ismat, Hikmat and Kiran as her mother leaves the home
frequently and disappeared for long time. Fiza’s father, Fakhri, made his days and night upon drinking or look to earn from easy means and create problems for family.
There, when Fiza is struggling to take care of her siblings with an aid of her brother Rehmad and neighbor friend Zaley, then Basit came into her life. Basit belongs to rich family who has issues with his father and don’t want to live with him. Basit helped Fiza in many chaos of her life and the story goes on. Another main character of Hamari kahani is Jameel, a young policeman, lives in Fiza's neighbor. Jameel likes Fiza and got jealous of Basit presence in his neighbourhood. Saima and Maria also live in Fiza’s town and a vital part of story where the character of Saima creates humour in tense story line.
