Rooh Afza Dairy Ice Cream Recipe At Home soft & smooth just like market
Most of time
when we make ice-cream at home, then it is made too frozen just like ice and it
is not soft as we buy from market. Mostly, we’re not able to take out scoops
from frozen homemade ice-cream. Here we’ll tell you the home made ice-cream
recipe that will be soft and creamy just like market packed ice-cream.
Every one in Pakistan & India know the
rich flavor of milk and Rooh Afza (a red drink). Keeping in mind, the favorite and healthy
drink of South-Asia, I’ll tell you my homemade dairy Rooh Afza, ice cream
recipe which will be soft and smooth just like you bought any ice-cream from
market. You can replace Rooh-Afza with any other red drink like jam e Shireen etc. This home-made ice-cream is low in budget but rich in nutrition and energy.
RECIPE

Ingredients:
Milk 2 cup
Fresh cream or
(ghar ki malai) 1 cup
Bread
slices 2
Sugar ½ cup
Rooh Afza/Jam
e Shireen 3 tb spoon
Cardamon 1
Almonds/pistachio a few crushed
Method:
Take a pan
and add milk cardamom in it. When milk comes to boil, add sugar and two bread
slices in it. Stir the milk and take it off. When the milk is come at room
temperature, take out cardamom from it and put milk mixture in blender jug. Add
cream, Rooh Afza, crushed almonds and pistachio in blender too. Now put on the
blender for 30 seconds watching the time. When all the ingredients are blended
together, take any box which can be tightly packed. Put all ice-cream mixture
in it and freeze it for 6-7 hours. Take out ice-cream and put the box out for 1
minute. Now open the box and enjoy big scoops of ice-cream. If it's hard to take out ice-cream in scoops then cut and present in slices.
Tips:
- I usually use empty ice-cream boxes to make ice-cream at home.
- You can use ice-cream popsicles to make ice-cream for kids at home too.
- If you skip Rooh Afza or any lal-sharbat from above recipe then it is a simple Kulfa ice-cream recipe. Got it guys.
- Many local shopkeepers this home-made ice-cream in their falooda shops. You can do it too.
- Bread is the ingredient that aid to freeze your ice-cream mixture just as ice and give it a creamy look.
- You can increase the quantity of cream(malai) to make the ice-cream creamy, smooth and mouth-watering.
Innovation:
- You can vanilla essence and yellow food-color to make vanilla ice-cream out of above recipe
- You can add 2 spoon cocoa-powder when milk is hot to make chocolate ice-cream out of above recipe
