  • Ad Crawler error due to robot.txt

It's important to know the reason of ad crawler error first. Sometimes ad crawler error is due to custom robot.txt which you have put in your blogger's setting tab.


  • Click & copy affected page link from adsense dashboard.


  • Paste & Check your effected post link in Google search console
  • Check for all properties HTTP or https.

  • Request new robot.txt file
  • Replace the old robot.txt file in settings.

My robot.txt was due to robot.txt was set as Disallow: search 

On changing it to Allow: in robot.txt my ad crawler error vanished.

3. Click Right arrow.

 See only one page is effected on my website and there is column marked "No" under must fix. It means that luckily, you don't are up to any policy violation but still an action is required to get better ad crawling experience on your website. Click the arrow at the end of notice slide. You'll get the detail of all pages that are affected by ad crawling error.

Here you'll drive towards your affected page. Oops, sorry but the page you were trying to view does not exist. Error 404. Copy the URL of the affected page then.

5. Click Google Search Console

After you've copied the URL of effected ad crawler page. Go to your blogger website. Click settings > Google Search Console.

6. Click Removals

      Click "Removals" on the dashboard of Google Search Console.

7. Temporary remove URL

    As soon as you click Removals on Google search console,

then Click New request > Temporary Removal URL > Paste the Affected page URL > Check remove URL only > Submit.

Your request will be submitted and you'll have a column showing processing request. I've already submitted my request that why my request is processed for Adsense crawling error.

8. Check URL is removed. 
 
Check Google Search Console after 12 hours-24 hours and check that Affected URL is temporarily removed from the website.  Now the notice on Adsense dashboard will disappear itself after sometime. Now you can also dismiss the notice now.

If you've more than one affected ad crawled pages then you need to remove the page URLs from Google Search Console one by one.
