Be aware of attestation agents HEC alerts the Public
After the Higher education commission of Pakistan HEC has introduced an eportal for online degree attestation sitting at home, spammers and agents have reported coming in view to provide services for degree attention procedure.
HEC has made it clear through a 'Public Alert' tweet that applicants should be aware of individuals who are fake HEC agents for degree attestation.
According to tweet,

Be aware of individuals posing as attestation agents
HEC has been reported about individuals who are introducing themselves as degree attestation agents. In a report, these agents have used fake HEC stamps/tickets on the original degrees and documents of applicants. These fake attested transcripts and degrees will be confiscated by HEC.
All the applicants looking for online documents, degree attestation through HEC should be attentive of spammers and fake HEC agents.
All applicants are advised to use a secure and robust online attestation method through the HEC portal."
