Sindh Changes SSC and HSSC Exam Paper Patterns, Reduces Duration and Announced Exam Dates
Amid disturbed educational situation, the Government of Sindh has reduced the duration of the SSC and HSSC examinations from three hours to two hours for the academic session 2020-21.
The provincial Minister for Education, Saeed Ghani, announced the Sindh has decided to reduce the duration of the board final examination because of the pandemic. Also the patterns of the examinations have also been changed accordingly.
“Half of the question paper will be based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs), while the rest of it will comprise subjective questions – 30 percent long questions and 20 percent short questions,” Sindh education minister announce. Model question papers of Sindh SSC and HSC according to the new pattern will be issued soon.
Asides announcing the revised schedule for the board examinations, Sindh has announced dates of SSC & HSSC examination. The SSC examinations will be conducted from 1 July to 15 July in Sindh. The HSSC intermediate examinations will be held from 28th July to 16th August 2021.
Ghani also told that the tests of 7,000 college teachers had conducted across province. There were 233 positive results and the results of 1,506 tests are awaited.
