Turkey is one of the popular tourist destinations around the world. In recent years, many Pakistani celebrity couples have visited Istanbul to spend their holidays and has shared glimpses of their good time with fans.
Following Aimen and Muneeb, Sara Khan and Falak Shabir, and many other celebrity couples, Nida Yasir, a renowned morning show host and a wife of actor, and film director Yasir Nawaz reached Istanbul with family to explore the oriental and European sunsets of Istanbul. Unfortunately, Pakistani host holidays in Istanbul were ruined when her diamonds were stolen during the trip. This has frustrated the actress and she reached Istanbul Police Station to file an FIR but it was also a miserable experience for her. Now Pakistani actress and host have requested the Pakistan embassy in Turkey to help her retrieve her diamonds.
Nida Yasir revealed about unfortunate incident of robbery of her diamonds in Istanbul, Turkey, during her visit to her fans, in a live show.
Nida Yasir told that she was quite aware of the unsafe situation of Istanbul as someone snatched her sister's mobile one year ago when she visited there. That why she decided not to wear any expensive jewelry during visiting tourist attractions in Istanbul and left them in her hotel room.
'There were my diamond rings and Pendant that I put in my handbag and hid it in my closet in a hotel where we were staying in Istanbul. I thought it was a safe place. We went out leaving the jewelry in the hotel room which was missing when we came back,' according to the Pakistani host.
'It was so frustrating. We rushed to the Istanbul police station to file an FIR. We had to wait long for our turn. It was our last day in Turkey which got ruined looking for stolen diamonds. The next day, we were asked to go back to Pakistan as per our visa due date. I came back but there is no progress about my diamond robbery case in Istanbul,' she sighed.
'I'm sure that the hotel staff is involved in my diamond robbery in Istanbul,' the Pakistani host pointed to the suspect.
'After waiting a while, now I've requested the Pakistan embassy in Istanbul, Turkey to help her retrieving her stolen diamonds,' she concluded.
This is an unfortunate incident that can happen with any tourist anywhere but there should be a proper investigation of the case. Any culprit should be punished. We hope that the Turkish government will look into the case to keep its emerging tourism safe from robbers and culprits.
