CONNECT WITH ZOOM CLASS
"Zoom" is the latest popular mobile app that is being used to conduct online classes from schools and to run meetings from offices amid corona lockdown.
Zoom app is easy to access and to join in with the clear quality image and good voice quality but problems arise when someone finds it difficult to connect or join the meeting through the zoom app.
Here is a step by step guide to joining the zoom class or meeting.
- First of all your host will start a meeting and he/she will get a link address from zoom.
- He/she send you the zoom link via email, WhatsApp, or through SMS.
- You go to the app gallery of mobile and search and install "zoom".
- Sign up the zoom app. After listing your name and e mail, you'll be able to sign in the app.
- Once the zoom app is signed in, then you can directly connect to the meeting via the link sent by your host.
- Don't have a zoom class invite link but still, you want to join a zoom meeting or class then ask about "meeting ID" from a friend.
- If you don't have a direct zoom invite link then you may join the meeting simply adding the MEETING ID number. It's a 10 digit ID at the end of zoom link.
- You can also join the zoom class or meeting by writing a personal link name, for example, Adam Smith, if the meeting is on then you'll be in the meeting.
- SSO or single sign-on allow you to enter zoom through company name too.
- After pressing " join meeting".
- You"ll get the message that soon host will allow you to join.
- You"ll catch the video of the host as soon as the ost will allow.
- To hear the voice press voice via device audio and you'll be able to listen to the host.
You can switch on your video
The host can mute or unmute your microphone and video during a zoom meeting.
You can see, talk, and discuss with the other participants of the zoom meeting during the meeting.
Anyone can join a zoom class or meeting only when the host is on with the meeting.
The host clearly needs to pre-inform you about the meeting or class time on "zoom" so that you can join on the Data or wifi to join the zoom meeting.
Zoom doesn't save the meeting content, so if one meeting missed then you've to wait for the next notification from the host. The part of zoom meeting is also with bad quality network.

Zoom can also be installed and used on PC and laptops as zoom Desktop client. To download ZOOM go to...http://zoom.umu.se/ and download. SSO or single sign-on allow you to enter zoom through company name too.
Once installed at your PC, you can sign in ZOOM via invite link, writing meeting ID or just link with personal host name but for all meeting should be in process.
