CHICKEN SHASHLIK RECIPE
Chicken Shashlik is a tasty Chinese dish which is widely cooked and liked on Pakistani party tables. Chicken Shashlik is done when marinated chicken cubes, onions, capsicum and tomatoes are pierced on wooden skewers and fried until it is crispy and brown. Chicken Shashlik is a dish which is handy when it's time to eat and full of nutrition with perfect combination of vegetables and meat. Lets go to perfect and mouth watering recipe of Chicken Shashlik:

Cooking time: 25- 30 minutes

Serving: 6-7 persons

Ingredients:

Chicken boneless cubes   1KG
Vinegar                               1 spoon
Soya sauce                         1 spoon
Garlic & ginger paste        1 spoon
Black pepper                       ¼ tb spoon
Red Chili flakes                  1 tablespoon
Paprika powder                   1 tablespoon
Salt                                         According to taste
Green capsicum                                1
Red capsicum                                    1
Yellow capsicum                               1
Onion                                                 1
Tomatoes                                            2
Oil                                                  to fry
Bamboo sticks                               6-7

Method:

  • Marinate chicken cubes in salt, pepper, vinegar, soya sauce, garlic & ginger paste for about 1 hour.
  • Cut capsicum, onion, tomatoes in cubes or rectangles and put it in a separate bowl.
  • Take bamboo skewers and pierce one chicken cube in it. After chicken add one piece of capsicum, 1 piece of onion and one piece of tomato. Again repeat the assembling. In this way, on one bamboo stick or skewers you’ll have at least three chicken cubes with layered capsicum, onion and tomatoes.
  • Once all skewers are ready, and then heat oil in a fry pan and put shashlik sticks in it. When the chicken is brown from all sides and the vegetables are done, then take out sticks and present on your party table with sauce.
