Federal board of intermediate and secondary education FBISE has shared sample e sheets on its social media accounts to benefit the SSC and HSSC students. Students can download, print and practice on these sample e sheets for board exam which is going to held in May 2021.
FBISE has announced a use of e sheets in SSC and HSSC board exams for six core subjects.
ESheet that is going to be used in exam 2021 subjects for SSC and HSSC exam:
- English compulsory
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Computer Science
ESheet are just like ordinary answer sheets but with fixed space for each question. The real purpose of introducing the e sheets is to make sure the focused and real evaluation of students. Also teachers will be able to check the papers from computer by sitting at homes. There will be no need of teachers to come at marking Centres to mark the papers. It'll reduce the transportation charges.
The introduction of e sheets in FBISE has created nervousness in the students. In Pakistan education system, longer answer is considered better than a brief one. Students unnecessarily use extra sheets to write longer answers. In esheets students will have to cover all points in a fixed space and in this way teachers can evaluate the best answer. Also students have concerns in case of wrong solution in Math paper on e sheets. FBISE chairman in e ketcheri has explained that students will be provided with extra sheet if they want to rewrite any answer correctly.
Students should be able to provide the brief answer of query within the given space. FBISE has advised the schools to use these sample e sheets in preparatory sessions of schools. Also FBISE students should practice to solve papers on e sheets. It is important to mention that schools and colleges are closed in many cities in Pakistan due to third wave of coronavirus. Many students might not get enough practise of solving the paper on Esheets.
FBISE sample e sheets for the paper of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Computer Science and Math can be downloaded from website. Students an take print of these sample e sheets and solve previous papers on them. The pattern of fbise papers is not changed. All papers will comprise of objective and subjective portions. Objective paper will be taken on OMR or Bubble sheets. Then students will be provided E sheets where they'll solve the paper within the given time.
