Peter Likes Being Bullied- A Story for kids

Peter Likes Being Bullied

There was a boy called Peter. He was very poor. His class fellows laughed at him as he came to school in ragged uniform, and torn shoes. He never had any money for lunch. He always remained on the fee defaulter's list. Peter also didn't want to attend school and study. He felt embarrassed about his poverty. He never understood why his father, who is a poor hawker, sends his children to school when he can't afford it? Why he doesn't care about his complaints about being bullied all the time?
"He for sure doesn't love us, " he thought. He became a dumb child so school stuck his name out when he got failed in the 5th grade.

His father sent him to a workshop so that he could learn some skills. His master beat him so brutally that one day he ran from the workshop and reached a town.
Some bad people caught him, transported him to another country, and forced him for bagging.  He had to bag for one year. Later they trained him for pickpocketing and other criminal tasks.
One day the police caught the bad people and sent all children to a social house.
A rich man took the responsibility for Peter's care and to bear his educational charges. There Peter again found a chance to continue his studies. This time he strived hard to learn his lessons. He dreamt of that terrifying time when his master beat him or he had to bag all day for a single loaf of bread. "Bearing timely bullying was a much easier task than having a harsh and unkind life all along", he now thought.
Time passed, and Peter missed his family. Now he was a young boy who passed his 12th grade with good grades. He went to visit his parents.
Things changed a lot. His father now ran a small shop instead of strolling his wooden cart in the streets to sell his things. His small house had some furniture and electronics. This was because of Peter's brother and sister who continued their studies despite poverty and bullying. They were earning good enough which changed the outlook of their life. The children of his brother were going to the same school but in a better way.

"Education breaks the cycle of poverty and I didn't want to see my children poor. I loved you most that's why my prayers made the way for you too".
His father looked at him and answered his many childhood questions.
